Roman grew up in Israel in a secular Jewish home, though for a time he was drawn to traditional Jewish practice. After moving to Canada in 2010, he spent years searching for truth and meaning through science, philosophy, and personal achievement, yet remained deeply unsatisfied. As he explored various materials, he eventually opened the New Testament for the first time and immediately recognized its message as true. A few months later he placed his faith in Jesus, and two weeks after that, his wife Kendal did the same.
A visit to Israel in 2023 stirred a calling to bring this message to his Jewish people. Roman now serves as a Missionary Trainee with Jews for Jesus Canada. His ministry focuses on sharing the gospel with Russian-speaking Jewish and Israeli communities through genuine relationships, organizing community gatherings, co-leading Bible studies, and assisting local support initiatives. He holds a BSc in Physics and previously served as a Canadian Army officer.
