The Lord Has Done Great Things for Us! We Are Glad!

We are excited and eagerly looking forward to how God will lead us through Aaron Abramson in this next season. But we also want to thank God and celebrate what He’s done through the leadership of His servant, David Brickner.

We are celebrating how through David’s faithful leadership, God

• united our staff through a momentous transition: When the founding executive director who had mentored all our top leaders stepped aside, it was time for the Jews for Jesus leaders to follow one of their peers. Praise God, He guided David through this challenge, and more, unifying the staff around our commitment to the gospel, to our calling, and to one another.
• brought our outreach worldwide: Under David’s leadership, God enabled us to have all-out “Behold Your God” outreaches around the world. This included 64 cities outside of Israel, followed by outreaches to all 12 regions in Israel, culminating in a month-long, multi-part outreach to Jerusalem.
• brought our gospel message to many specialized Jewish audiences: Praise God for a leader whose vision and emphasis on teamwork opened so many new doors of ministry. David encouraged our staff to pursue their passion for reaching specific Jewish communities in ways we’d never tried before.
• laid groundwork for our work in Israel to grow beyond anything we had imagined: Under David’s leadership, our work in Israel became a priority. We received official non-profit status, purchased a ministry center in Tel Aviv that we’re using for all kinds of community events, began ministering to those caught up in addiction and sex trafficking, established a branch in Jerusalem, and have seen our staff in Israel grow to more than 50 staff and volunteers.
• led our ministry through several crises, including 9/11, COVID, and the wars in Ukraine and Israel: Through David’s leadership, God helped our mission respond with a radical dependence and a resilient attitude toward His leading in the midst of crisis by loving, serving, and sharing His gospel.

• raised up new leaders: Seeing others become successful leaders was always a key component of David’s vision, and that’s why we had a number of great candidates to consider for taking up the reigns of leadership.
