In this powerful conversation from the streets of Israel, we met a Jewish woman who shared that she didn’t feel the need for a Messiah in order to live a meaningful and moral life. For her, being a good person wasn’t dependent on religion, faith, or what someone believed. When we shared that Jesus wasn’t simply a figure exclusive to Christianity, but was in fact a Jewish rabbi who lived among the Jewish people, she was genuinely surprised. We explained our belief that Jesus came not just for one group of people, but to invite the whole world into a better way of living marked by love, mercy, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
