Egor was born in Siberia into a secular family that observed a blend of Jewish and Russian traditions. In 1999, he repatriated to Israel with his family. From a young age, he believed in God’s existence but did not know who he truly was. As a teenager, he searched for spiritual meaning through various mystical and esoteric practices, hoping to find answers about life, identity, and truth. Yet the deeper he went, the more he realized that these paths led to confusion rather than peace.
A frightening spiritual experience forced him to confront the reality that the “spiritual world” he trusted could not offer him safety or truth. In desperation, he cried out to the Creator he did not yet know, asking . Soon after, Egor was encouraged to read the Bible, and through Scripture he discovered the God who had rescued him. As he learned about the redemptive work of Jesus the Messiah, he put his faith in him in 2011 and experienced the freedom and clarity he had been seeking for years.
Since coming to faith, Egor has been an active servant in his local congregation and now serves with Jews for Jesus in Tel Aviv. His ministry focuses on helping Jewish people discover the same truth and hope he found in the Messiah—especially those who, as he once was, are drawn to occult spirituality, mysticism, or various forms of intellectual agnosticism. Through personal conversations, outreach, and a range of evangelistic projects, Egor works to guide seekers toward the One who brings true light and redemption.
