As one of Jews for Jesus’ two chief operating officers, Dan has oversight of our teams in Europe, South Africa, Israel, and Australia. With a doctor of ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary, an MA in ministry and leadership from Western Seminary, and an undergraduate degree in mathematics, Dan brings a unique balance of precision and pastoral care to our leadership.

Dan was born in Israel and had a secular Jewish upbringing. His family relocated to the United States when he was in his teens. Dan came to faith through the witness of Dinah, a Jewish believer in Jesus he met at college. He and Dinah married in 1999, and together joined the staff of Jews for Jesus. Dinah recently received her master of arts in ministry and leadership from Western Seminary. Her outgoing nature and passion for the gospel have contributed much to our outreaches both in the US and Israel.

The Sereds moved to Israel in 2000, and Dan became our Israel director in 2006. Our work and partnership with others grew tremendously under Dan’s leadership. Dan helped to pastor All Nations Church in Israel for 17 years. He and his family returned to the US in 2020, when Dan was appointed chief operations officer.

Dan and Dinah reside in New Jersey. They have a daughter and two sons.
