Robert King Tang

Chief Financial Administrative Officer

Robert is our chief financial administrative officer, having joined our staff in 2018 as the first person to fill that role. After a successful career in the hospitality industry, the Lord answered Robert’s prayer to transition his talents into full-time ministry.

Robert takes it to heart that God has entrusted us with finances to bring the gospel to the Jewish people. He has worked diligently to develop our administrative team and increase our effectiveness, always with the goal of becoming the best possible stewards of our God-given resources. Robert’s commitment is backed by his excellent command of finance and strategic planning in those areas. He says, “I treasure being the chief financial administrative officer of Jews for Jesus as it enables me to live out my Christian convictions in full-time service.”

Robert was raised in a Christian family. He became a believer at the age of five, and has been, as he puts it, “walking the straight and narrow ever since.” He has been involved in a wide range of church activities, including running the youth, college, and young-couples fellowships.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys hiking, biking, and golfing—or anything outdoorsy—when he is not reading. He and his wife, Agatha, reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. Robert received both his BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, Shidler College of Business.

“I believe in the highest possible financial responsibility, which is to God, and the principles He gives us of being generous to each other.”

Robert talks about his journey to faith in Jesus and passion for financial integrity.
