Opposition to the gospel seems to be heating up in the Land of Israel. While most Israelis are secular and tend to either be open or indifferent to our message, the religious minority is becoming increasingly hostile and is more and more willing to resort to bullying and even violence in their determination to stifle our message.
If you have been reading RealTime, you know that we are in the midst of a comprehensive evangelistic outreach called “Behold Your God, Israel.” Recently we concluded our sixth evangelism campaign in the North Shore region of Israel, including the cities of Hadera and Netanya. We were very encouraged because some seven hundred people requested further literature, and eight people prayed with us to receive the Lord during the campaign. But we also noticed a marked increase in physical assaults.
