Jewish Facts of Life

There are no major holidays between now and September 15. HOWEVER, there’s a very important holiday that begins on Friday, September 18; you might want to start thinking about it now.  The holiday is the Feast of Trumpets, also known as Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year). It is very appropriate to wish your Jewish friends a happy New Year the week before and after this holiday.

For more about Rosh Hashanah, including a variety of free e-postcards you can send to your friends, click here. Note: E-cards are nice, but there’s nothing like receiving a beautiful greeting card that you can actually set on the mantle for a couple of weeks.
