CLIMs are Co-Laborers in Messiah, our special volunteer forces who are often behind the scenes but always helping us do so much more than we could on our own. This month we invited a few of our missionaries to give a shout out to some of these great folks.

David “Moose” Garrett says, “Our North American Children and Youth Ministry team met at Hillside Acres Christian Retreat just west of Austin, Texas, on February 23-27. It was a very productive meeting to make plans for our upcoming Camp Gilgal 2015 summer camps and beyond. Ten of us arrived from San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles. Wendy Dietrich, our CLIM in Austin, was a huge help. She not only loaned us a car for the entire time we were in Texas, but she also provided me with two nights of lodging and the use of a car. (I was there a couple of days early to speak at a church, and was so blessed that she helped facilitate that.) Thank you, Wendy!”

Bruce Rapp says, “Phoenix is one of our smaller North America branches, so my wife Tracy and I rely on volunteers in our day-to-day work. Ginny and Bill Finkemeier are two CLIMs who’ve been a tremendous support to our ministry. They come out on sorties at ball games, campuses and other outreaches, assist us with our holiday events, and host different missionaries who have come to help the branch at various times. They’ve also hosted several Bible studies for us in their home, and have helped us establish a relationship with their local church. When Tracy and I plan an event it is always a blessing to know that Ginny and Bill are willing to come alongside and help.”

Laura Barron, missionary in Toronto, says, “Recently Jews for Jesus had a booth at a large missions conference in Vancouver, Canada. One of our faithful CLIMs, Margot van Lindenberg, drove five hours from Calgary to help me at the booth, chatting with people about our ministry, allowing me much-needed breaks and keeping everything incredibly organized. Her service and support were such a boost to me and to our ministry. When I needed a projector for my seminar on Jewish evangelism, a ‘retired’ CLIM, Margaret Kehoe, went out of her way to find one for me; she delivered it and returned it an hour away from her home. CLIMs are invaluable and made my time in Vancouver a success through their faithfulness!”
