Those of you who have read Ceil Rosen’s story will remember the mention of Mrs. Hanna Wago, a missionary to the Jews who first witnessed to Ceil, then led her to Christ and discipled her. The following is from a Bible study guide which Mrs. Wago compiled. We thought it would make a meaningful Bible study for you, our co-laborers in the Jews for Jesus ministry .

Pray for Israel . Love Israel . Witness to Israel

Because Israel is beloved of God for the fathers’ sake (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob), and holds a high place in God’s favor.

The rich young ruler asked, "What must I do to have eternal life?" Nicodemus, a great ruler in Israel, asked the same question. The answer has always been the same for both Jew and Gentile.

When the head of the human race fell into sin, all men became sinners. To be restored to God’s favor and have eternal life, man must be saved (converted), or renewed in spirit, after the image of Him that created him. This experience is a miracle and only God can perform it.

"Conversion," or being "saved" is also called "circumcision of the heart."

The prophets of God, looking into the future, saw a day coming when the division between the Jews and Gentiles, the wall of partition, would be taken away. That event was always connected with the coming of the Messiah.
