With three campaigns this month we couldn’t fit all the prayer requests onto one bookmark, so you may want to cut and clip this to your BYG bookmark.
Dnepropetrovsk is probably the most difficult Jews for Jesus branch to pronounce (unless you happen to be from Ukraine or Russia!) but if you ignore the letter d” and pronounce the “ne” like “nyeh” the rest of it is pretty easy. Dnepropetrovsk is in the central part of Ukraine and the Jewish population there is approximately 45,000.
Please be praying for Valera Bolotov, who leads the campaign, as he depends on Misha Vashengoltz to assist him the first week and Maxim Ammosov the second.
Normally, the leadership team would remain the same throughout the campaign, so pray that Maxim will be able to jump in and give the support needed the second week.
The Jewish population in Atlanta is 150,000. Probably the biggest reason we have not had more of a presence in Atlanta is that so many messianic works are already in progress there. We are delighted to be working with several of them this summer! Pray for Dan Sered, who has been away from the Tel Aviv branch in order to lead this campaign, and for Shaun Buchhalter, who will assist him. We mailed an offer of our Survivor Stories video, which reached Jewish homes in Atlanta on June 16. Please pray that many people will continue ordering the video, and for many opportunities to share the gospel as we hand-deliver them.
The Atlanta Braves will be playing at home every night during the second week of the campaign. Please pray as we hand out tracts at the baseball games. Also, author Stan Telchin will be speaking at local venues on Saturday, July 6, and on Sunday, July 7. Please pray that many Jewish people will come hear him.
Next month’s BYG city is…Boston!
