Your Partnership at Work in Paris

Irma was raised in a 100% traditionally Jewish home but was drawn to Jesus through a Christian colleague who suggested she call our Paris office.

Branch leader Joshua Turnil says, “I called her back and we had a very intense gospel conversation. All the groundwork had already been laid, and Irma prayed to receive Jesus within 15 minutes. Before long, we met in person at our office. I wish you could have been there to see it.

“One of her first questions was, ‘Joshua I’m not a very emotional person; why am I crying?’ I opened the Bible and we read the Gospel account of the woman who washed Yeshua’s feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. After reading it, I turned the question back to Irma: ‘Why do you think you are crying?’

“She answered without hesitation, ‘It’s because I’m forgiven.’

“Your prayers and support enabled us to be there for Irma. When Irma’s Christian friend suggested she call us, that was God answering your prayers for us to reach Jewish people for Jesus and making all the right connections in His perfect timing.

“I was so touched by Irma’s response to Jesus, and I hope it encourages you as well, ‘I’ve loved many people in my life,’ she said, ‘but I’ve never loved anyone as much as I love Jesus. I can’t understand it because He’s not a physical presence but He’s somehow inside me. I’m so grateful that I have to wear the mask in public. I’m always smiling. People would think I’m crazy!’”
