Ministry Moments

Kata TarFrom Kata Tar in Budapest: I met Simon* at the Keleti train station 5 years ago and shared the gospel with him. We sent him some literature afterwards and one of our volunteers, Hanna*, contacted him. Simon went to church with Hanna and prayed to receive Jesus! He stopped his criminal lifestyle, but he was arrested for past crimes and sentenced to prison. But even in prison, Simon has been faithfully attending church services and reading his Bible. When he was released into custody, he found our online events. I telephoned him and he told me once he is released, he would love to come to church with me! I am so encouraged by his commitment to follow Yeshua, even from within prison walls.

Rob BermanFrom Rob Berman in South Africa: Samantha* reached out to us last year. I called her and discovered that she is a new believer, and she recently learned that her dad (who she has never met) is Jewish. She is very passionate about sharing the Gospel with Jewish people and has been sharing her faith with her Israeli friends. We began meeting regularly to talk about her relationship with the Lord and her Jewish identity. We’ve had Shabbat meals with her and her then-fiancée, Jeremy*, and had very personal discussions about Samantha’s past and the challenges in their relationship as they prepare for marriage. It was a joy to join them for their wedding and celebrate their marriage in Messiah!
