Sign in the window reads: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”

Currently two standoffs are taking place, one near the Paris airport and the other in a kosher supermarket just a few blocks from our Juifs Pour Jesus office.

There is a police lockdown in eastern Paris, where we are located and branch leader, Joshua Turnil, has just been to the site where at least six hostages are being held.  Police are on guard right on the street where we have our meetings since we are on the list of those Jewish institutions that are considered at risk for terrorist attack.  Says Joshua, “Sadly anti-Semitism and anti-Jesus sentiments are not new to France.  Yet our Savior, Jesus, the Prince of Peace himself, came as a Jew to reconcile broken people to God.  We will keep proclaiming that message and pray that many others will join us.”

Please pray for Paris hostages and for safety for Juif pour Jesus staff.
