Richard Harvey London

Senior Researcher

Richard grew up in a Reform Jewish home and was not interested in Jesus. But one day, Christian friends asked him what happened after the crucifixion. He had a vision of the empty tomb and realized Jesus had risen from the dead. “But I’m Jewish!” he replied, “and we are not supposed to believe that!” Shortly after, he accepted Yeshua as his Messiah, as did several of his family. He is married to Monica, also a Jewish disciple of Jesus, and they have two children and three grandchildren.

Richard teaches, trains, and mentors within Jews for Jesus, and responds to questions on our website and in different teams. He also writes and teaches internationally. He is an associate lecturer in Hebrew Bible and Jewish studies at All Nations Christian College, UK. His doctorate Mapping Messianic Jewish Theology (2008) and his book Luther and the Jews: Putting Right the Lies (2017) help Christians understand the Jewish people. His blog On this day in Messianic Jewish history tells the stories of Jewish followers of Jesus. He is passionate about following Rabbi Jesus and helping others to grow as disciples.
