Community Worker - Lerecha Team

I grew up in beautiful Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After graduating with an English degree, I was able to teach at a Philadelphia middle school and high school. I then moved to South Africa where I started a school and taught for two years in a poor township. While there, I also wrote curriculum for UNICEF's AIDS program which grew my love for vulnerable & abused women. Upon returning to the USA I completed my masters in Pastoral Care to Women at Western Seminary. I was able to work at a shelter for teenage girls who were trafficked. At the same time, I was also living in a community house with 50 others from around the world. I moved to Israel after graduation where I completed a second masters in trauma and social work. All these phases in my life have prepared me for a new ministry; Larecha with Jews for Jesus. Larecha gives me the opportunity to counsel 1 on 1, work with prostitutes, serve the homeless and addicts. I also volunteer as a youth leader and teach bible studies. It’s a full life as I live out my passion to share Jesus’s love with others.
