Summer Witnessing Campaign Part Two: behind the scenes and contact sorties
(If you didn’t see the photos from last month click here to view them.)
We’re grateful for stewards who cheerfully prepared our meals, packed our tract bags, prayed and supported us in so many ways New York City
This year’s campaign included a daily devotional time-it helped to keep the spiritual energy flowing.
The group gathers in front of the building before going out on each sortie (tract-passing expedition). The brightly colored papers in our window are samples of the various broadside-tracts we hand deliver on the streets.
And then the teams head out with a sense of camaraderie
Noon sorties are often called "contact sorties" because more people have time to talk-which often results in the opportunity for us to have further contact. It was also a great time for our Liberated Wailing Wall to present music and story in the park.
