Campaign leader Garrett Smith reports, A Christian involved in media suggested that I call one of the larger public relations firms in the city. Frankly I did not think it would amount to anything, but I called nonetheless. The woman I spoke to clearly could not comprehend who Jews for Jesus is and what we are trying to accomplish through our campaign. She did however say she would speak to ‘the partner’ about it. Well, what do you know, the partner is a believer and was excited to talk to me. He called me back to say that he had met with ‘his creative team’ and they had talked about how to present us to the secular media of Pittsburgh. He was thrilled that he was able to share the gospel with his team within the context of explaining our campaign to them. This firm has agreed to make some calls to see if they can arrange some secular interviews for us. I don’t know if anything will come of it. One of my goals for the campaign is that our presence will create conversations about Jesus in the city. Praise God, that is exactly what happened at this PR firm!

“In the process of laying some of the groundwork for this campaign, a few Jewish people have already told me that their rabbis have been warning them about us. It would seem that the entire Jewish community of Pittsburgh is bracing themselves for our campaign. There have been numerous discussions both community-wide and in individual synagogues, not to mention the Jewish newspaper. Another goal of the campaign is to make the Messiahship of Jesus an unavoidable issue to our Jewish people in Pittsburgh. Well, it seems that before we have even handed out a single tract this is being accomplished.

If these are indications of what is to come, we are hopeful that the Lord is going to do mighty things in the next three weeks. Join us in prayer and be part of the adventure!
