Meeting of the Minds for Young Adult Ministry

On October 30th in San Francisco, key Jews for Jesus staff involved with ministry to young adults will meet with David Brickner. They will discuss vision, direction, strategies, and seek wisdom regarding what our future ministry to young adults should look like, and how we can have a more cohesive and coordinated way of reaching out to them. Please pray for God’s blessing and that He will make this a fruitful time.

Possible Media Flurry Following October 22 hearing

It’s been a few years since a legal action was brought against Jews for Jesus after we reported in one of our publications that a relative of one of our staff members prayed to receive the Lord. When that relative decided she did not believe in Jesus after all, she received encouragement and help to pursue legal action against us. The case was dismissed, appealed and again dismissed. Now, however, the case is coming up again on October 22 as the court decides whether the charge that opposing council brought against us is even valid in that state. Therefore, it is expected to be widely publicized and it is very likely that the media will contact us. Do please pray for the Lord to use this as an opportunity to glorify Him and spread the gospel.

In Israel

We recently ran our first gospel ad in the secular media. The ad observed that “Jesus gave His life for you . . . we just want to give you a free book.” Our Israel team is still working on creative ways to tell the gospel and right now is a key time in planning for future outreach. Please pray for wisdom and discernment.
