Jews for what?!

Offering cold-brewed tea at Columbia University as students read our “Jews for What?!” postcards

During their fall outreach, our New York team was at several college campuses inviting people to interact with chalk art, prayer boards, literature—even cold-brewed tea. All this and more led to 110 conversations with Jewish people who don’t yet believe in Jesus. Of those, forty-four were quick interactions, but a gospel impression was still made. Another forty-three conversations produced more give-and-take on spiritual matters, and the last 23 exchanges were in-depth conversations.

The two-week outreach included a couple of Shabbat dinners; seven Jewish people who were willing to hear more about Jesus came each time.

One of our favorite reactions came from a Jewish guy on a major college campus: “Oh, you’re with Jews for Jesus. I love you guys! Contact me any time you all want to come to any of our meet-up groups for Jewish students.”

Please pray that each person who stopped to talk—and especially those who shared Shabbat with our team—will continue to think about who Jesus is and ask God to reveal the truth.

Students found our postcards and T-shirts engaging and our team had a great time
