Earlier this month 35,000 Israelis converged at Ha Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv for a concert by Robbie Williams, a popular English singer-song writer. Our team was there, sharing the Good News of Messiah. We spoke to many people and handed out 4,300 gospel postcards that asked, “How deep is your love?” (lyrics from one of Williams’ songs) and shared about the deep love of Messiah Jesus. While some of the revelers rolled their eyes and retorted, "Again, Jews for Jesus? Even here?" others stopped to look at our T-shirts, take gospel postcards, and ask questions.

Valery Bolotov, formerly with our Ukraine team, is a recent immigrant from the former Soviet Union. Now part of our Israel branch’s Russian-speaking team, he proudly wore his T-shirt with the inscription "Jews for Jesus" in Russian. He was thankful to the Lord for the many Russian speakers in the crowd who responded as they saw their native language. Valery recounts, “Some read my inscription on the T-shirt very loudly, and willingly took tracts. One young man asked me to explain what this is all about. I told him the gospel message and invited him to think about how he can be saved. He asked me to pray for him, that God would reveal the truth to him.” Hallelujah! Please pray with us for God to answer that prayer, and that the many others whom we spoke to at the outreach would find that truth as well.
