Israel Wants Change

From Israel, Vlad Mitnitsky explains, “Many Israelis feel their only hope is a change of government, but after eight changes in 20 years, the hoped for results have not materialized. People are frustrated and discouraged. Our Tel Aviv team wanted to offer encouragement and hope.

“Two months ago we produced a gospel postcard using the slogan, ‘SO WHO WILL YOU CHOOSE?’ The card explains that hope and salvation are from God, not any human government. It states the gospel clearly and offers this comfort: ‘Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you’ (1 Peter 5:7). It concludes with an invitation to ‘Order a free copy of “Brit Hadasha” [New Testament] and read Yeshua’s platform today.’

“We also designed a special T-shirt with the ‘SO WHO WILL YOU CHOOSE’ slogan. (You can see the postcard and our T-shirts in the photo gallery.)

We have been giving out these gospel cards to Jews and Arabs since January. On March 7 we had a culmination outreach at the ‘Israel wants change’ rally that took place at Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square. About 40,000 Israelis attended the rally. Our team consisted of three staff and six volunteers who joyfully joined the rally for the purpose of street evangelism. Praise God, in a couple of hours we reached out to 4,000 people with our gospel postcards! We had dozens of meaningful conversations on spiritual matters. Two Jewish people who don’t yet believe gave us their contact info so that we can be in touch with them.  Please pray for God to tend the gospel seeds sown during the rally in Rabin Square, and especially for the salvation of the two people who wanted to hear more from us.”
