Our staff are hard at work raising up the next generation of Jewish believers
Rebekah “Red Sox” Rood, a New York Branch Children and Youth Minister, and the director of our Camp Gilgal East program, writes:
“We are just wrapping up our junior camp program for Jewish 8-12 year olds in upstate New York. I’ve taught each day about our God and His plan to rescue people and bring them into relationship with Him.
“Please pray especially for Nathan* and Hannah* who have believing extended families, but are growing up in unbelieving homes. They both have personal relationships with Yeshua, but Camp Gilgal is their only connection all year to a spiritually supportive environment. Please pray for God to strengthen their faith, and that their families would be saved.

“As you are reading this, we are only hours away from our Junior Camp story campfire, where the campers share with one another what God has been doing in their lives. Please pray that God would help these young people be able to see and to say how the Holy Spirit is working in their hearts and preparing them to serve Him for the rest of their lives!
“Next week we launch into Teen Camp for youth ages 13-15. God has really blessed us with an amazing group of campers and staff this summer, and I’d love to have you join our team through your prayers! Pray that God will touch hearts on a spiritual level. Also, on the East Coast summer thunderstorms can create challenging situations. We covet your prayers for clear forecasts and favorable weather.”
