Sean Trank lived an all too brief yet amazingly full 28 years. He loved adventures and had a boatload full of them (literally, if you go to his tribute page at http://jforj.org/seantrank/ you’ll see). Many of his adventures these last several years were with Jews for Jesus, and that includes Massah. Sean not only participated in Massah, but he met his beautiful wife through the program. He encouraged many of the people on this year’s Massah to participate. Team leader Eli Birnbaum said,

“We were hit with the sad news that Sean had gone to be with the Lord on July 2. Many of the team members [who knew Sean well] were devastated, but we decided to carry through the day as planned. We had a good time with Richard, as he took us through some team-building exercises. Then we took the evening off so we could gather together to pray and remember Sean. We did exactly that; we sang songs, worshiped our Lord, listened to stories, wrote out some of our thoughts [see photo with candle below] and were reminded of the hope of resurrection when all will be restored.”
