Sometimes less is more…
We hoped for 24 full-time campaigners for our 2003 New York City Summer Witnessing Campaign—got 17, but what a great crew! They’re really cranking! Fourteen days into the campaign, as of lunchtime, Monday, July 14, they’ve handed out 382,835 broadside tracts, have gotten the names of 180 unbelieving Jews and 167 Gentiles willing to hear more about Jesus. Twelve Jews and 32 Gentiles have prayed to receive Jesus so far.
55,700 of those broadsides went out on the 4th of July. To see the tracts we passed out that day, click here:

HERE ARE EXAMPLES OF WHAT IS GOING ON IN NEW YORK CITY NOW:
**While a team was still on a sortie (tract-passing expedition) at Lincoln Center, a Jewish woman who received one of our broadside tracts there called our office and prayed with missionary Susan Mendelson to receive the Lord. Please pray for this new Jewish sister named Meera. (She has already met twice with Susan for discipleship; pray she continues.)
** Abraham Sandler was returning from a sortie on the subway when a young Israeli saw his shirt and said, “Jews For Jesus? I’m going to a party to get wasted, what do you think Jesus thinks about that?” Omer actually listened for two stops as Abraham told him about sin, salvation and the Savior. Please pray for Omer’s salvation.
**Stephen Katz was on a sortie on the Upper West Side of Manhattan when a Muslim in his late 20s or early 30s politely approached and expressed curiosity about the Jews for Jesus shirt. Nadir had attended Catholic school as a child, but had not previously understood the concepts of sin and salvation. He prayed with Stephen to receive the Lord! Please pray for Nadir to grow in grace.
