So many events at the Moishe Rosen Center!
This past month has been extremely busy for our Youth and Young Adult Missionary Team that work out of the Moishe Rosen Center (MRC) in Tel Aviv. Not only do they hold weekly Bible studies for youth and soldiers as well as hosting a weekly Messianic congregation— they’ve also been hosting a special event nearly every week for the last month or more. From a garage sale that allows neighbors to sell used items and donate some of the proceeds to charity, to a ladies tea party with guest speaker Susan Perlman (pictured above), we have a heart to be a blessing and light to our community.
After the Ladies Tea, one person commented, “Most of our Friday mornings in Israel are spent running around doing errands. It was such a delight, for a change, to have the opportunity to fellowship with faith-filled women of God. The hot tea and teaching on ‘How to Deal with Difficult Times’ warmed our bodies and our spirit. Some of the women invited unbelieving friends. I think seeds were sown. Pray for their salvation.” Please pray specifically for Shira*, a Jewish woman that attended the Ladies Tea and has yet to believe in Yeshua (Jesus).
The MRC also hosted FlorenDine! (a take-off on the name of the neighborhood, Florentine), an artistic dining experience. Eli, who runs our center, said, “We are so grateful that God has provided us a beautiful space; it was a blessing to share God’s gift with our neighbors once again. The theme was diversity, and what a diverse crowd we had, with all kinds of religious backgrounds and different cultures! We enjoyed foods from around the world, while getting to know new people. We were blessed to have more than twenty Jewish Israelis who don’t yet believe in Yeshua join us for dinner.”
The MRC also hosted another “India through the eyes of the traveler” gallery, which drew more than 150 Israeli Jews who don’t yet know the Messiah.
Moishe Rosen never wanted to have a building named after him but he dreamed of one day having a creative, cutting edge story in Israel… and thanks be to God and the great team He’s given us, that we do have! Please pray for follow-up from all these events, and that many who attended will be open to hearing more about Yeshua.
