This time last month we were in the midst of our New York City Summer Witnessing Campaign. The campaign ended with 402,620 broadsides handed out, and we received contact information from 865 Christians (26 of them Jewish) and 646 seekers (127 of them Jewish). Twelve people prayed with our campaigners to receive Jesus, two of whom were Jewish. You can see photos from the campaign here.
Forty-five eight to twelve-year-olds attended Junior Camp West this year. Fifteen campers surrendered their lives to Jesus for the first time, and thirteen rededicated their lives. Midwest Junior Camp had nineteen campers; one camper prayed the salvation prayer, and ten rededicated their lives. Junior Camp on the East coast also had nineteen campers. Four rededicated their lives to the Lord.
The Midwest and East combined their thirteen to fifteen-year-old teen camps to have twenty teens total. Of the twenty, four rededicated their lives to Jesus. Teen Camp West had 24 campers, with seven rededications to follow Jesus.
More camp stuff from Karen Myers in Israel:
Praise the Lord that five Israeli teenagers (7th-8th graders) surrendered their lives to Yeshua last week at camp!!! And thank Him for the kids whose commitments were deepened. Pray for those who are still fighting with God to surrender everything to the God who is jealous for their love.
