Brooklyn branch leader Karol Joseph reports from Florida, “I had a really great visit yesterday with the my host’s neighbors. Deborah* is Jewish and her husband Tony* is Italian. My hostess invited them to come over for breakfast and it turned into an hour and a half Q & A about Jesus and faith in God. Both consider themselves atheists, but Tony is clearly more angry about some aspects of his religious (Catholic) upbringing, and was keenly interested. She loved listening in. And the best part was that they are both from Brooklyn (but now have a home in Long Island). They go back north in May and stay through the summer; they want to get together again and continue our conversation. I might never have met them in New York, but thanks to a great hostess on tour, we were able to connect!”
Please pray for God to continue working in Deborah and Tony’s hearts, and for fruitful follow up with Karol in New York.
