Elizabeth Black reported from our New York City team, “Earlier this month our branch hosted a formal Seder for the local Jewish community. Many Jewish people, both believers and unbelievers, gathered at our building on 31st Street to celebrate Passover with us, and to learn more about Jesus’ significant role in the holiday’s powerful narrative of redemption and deliverance.

“The Seder was co-led by New York branch leader Aaron Abramson and missionary Daniel Tasman, who walked us through the Passover story. Giselle Le’Aupepe and Elisheva R led everyone in some traditional Passover melodies. Along with the meaningful service, we all enjoyed a delicious first-class meal, as well as the beautiful black-and-white decor.

“During and after the meal, many of our guests were involved in great conversations about Passover’s connections to the gospel, and about the overall human need for God. One Jewish man who attended was so interested that he wants to continue the discussion with us. A wonderful time was had by all, and God was glorified!”

Please pray for those who attended our NY Seder and don’t yet believe the gospel, that God will draw them to saving faith.
