This new broadside by Sean Trank is hot off the "press" (computer) and will soon be receiving an art treatment. When it’s done you’ll have a chance to download the finished version.

Hunger Games

Meet  Katniss Everdeen
Katniss knows what is like to be hungry…
To be in danger…
To want to be free…

But Katniss’ whole world (Panem) is controlled by an evil dictator.

And she finds herself in the game of her life.

The Hunger Games, an annual fight to the death, pits 12-18 year olds against one another until there is just one survivor.  And it is televised as the ultimate reality show.

Katniss recognizes that she is a pawn in this massive game of life, and no matter what, the odds are against her if she plays by the game designer’s rules.

She wishes for a savior to bring her out that mess, but she only gets sponsors and they aren’t enough.  Thank God, that is not our world.

In our world, a Messiah has come to set us free. Free from the traps of greed, sexual confusion, idol worship, self-indulgence and even a system we can’t change. We may not see ourselves as trapped but the reality is, like King David, we need to cry out:
"Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me…Free me from the trap that is set for me, for you are my refuge."  Psalm 130:2,4
The good news is that God, the ultimate designer, is not playing games.  He has heard our cry and sent more than a sponsor.  His son, Yeshua (Jesus) came to be our one and only savior.
"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him" (John 3:17)
Rebel against the world system today and ask Jesus to save you from your sins.  With him, the odds of eternal life are always in your favor.
