From Tel Aviv, Sheer Raev reports, “This summer we held a Vacation Bible School in our Moishe Rosen Center. Thirteen kids attended, some from Messianic homes and others from unbelieving homes. It was a wonderful week full of games, songs, crafts, and lessons about our Savior, Yeshua.

“On the last day, we had small group discussions about who God is, how do we know He loves us, why do we need to be saved, etc. One of the kids Yotam* was struggling with the conversation, so I invited him to talk with me one-on-one.

“‘I still haven’t decided if I want to be on God’s side,’ he said, and went on to ask all kinds of questions such as: ‘How do I know that God is good?’ and ‘How do I know that God is in control?’ These were deep questions, especially for a seven-year-old. I could see his struggle and his desire to understand God better. At the end of our conversation, Yotam told me that he wanted to be on God’s side. We prayed and he received Jesus into his heart. During the VBS, two other boys likewise prayed.

“After many weeks of continuing to share God’s love with these children through our Bible clubs, we are seeing the fruit of their salvation. Praise the Lord that He is faithfully working in these children’s hearts and calling them to follow Him. Please pray that as they grow older, they will continue to grow in Yeshua.”
