This year, Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths) is from sundown October 6 to sundown October 13. This joyous weeklong festival reminds us of how God not only brought us out of slavery in Egypt, but sojourned with us for 40 years in the wilderness. As the final harvest festival, it also reminds us of the Land of Promise and God’s gracious bounty. For a wonderful in-depth study of this “Jewish Thanksgiving” festival and what it means for all believers in Jesus, we recommend David Brickner’s new book, Christ in the Feast of Tabernacles, published by Moody Press. You can order it at https://store.jewsforjesus.org or call 1-877-463-7742.”
