*Behold Your God is our vision to reach every city in the world (outside of Israel) where there are 25,000 or more Jewish people by 2005.

From October 21-November 6, Alan Bond will be leading BYG Houston. He says:

We are coming shortly after the High Holidays,” when Jewish hearts may be more inclined toward atonement, and will be there for the climax of a national presidential election. Houston should be abuzz with activity. Schools will be in session, while professional football, hockey and basketball arenas will be filled (let’s not push it with baseball’s Astros). Maybe it won’t even rain the whole time!

Perhaps you never thought of Houston as a city with 25,000 or more Jewish people. From 1900-1910 many Jewish pilgrims journeyed from Bremen, Germany to Galveston, Texas, bypassing Ellis Island in New York and giving Houston its Jewish complexion. Today, some 44,000 Jewish people live in the Houston area.

Jews and Gentiles who love Jesus and want to see Him elected as King in the hearts of men and women are joining forces to converge on this city of 1.9 million people where Texas’s Gulf Coast and Pineywoods meet. That’s nearly 2 million people for whom Yeshua died and rose, most of whom have never heard the gospel explained in its original context. Please pray for us as we reach out to them.

Ed: Don’t forget: campaigns that began last month in San Diego and Paris are continuing through October 11 and 24 respectively. Keep them in prayer, too!
