It Takes a Team
Brian and Judith have been friends and supporters of Jews for Jesus for some time. They keep in touch with Joyce McArthur, our Indianapolis Co-Laborer in Messiah (trained volunteer) and they even hand out our broadsides (gospel tracts) from time to time.
Brian was excited when a mutual friend introduced him to Bonnie, a Jewish woman with a genuine interest in the gospel. After years of supporting Jews for Jesus and reading about how our people are coming to faith, Brian and Judith had never actually met a Jewish person who wanted to hear about Jesus. Brian called Joyce; she gave him the schedule of two of our newer missionaries (Natalie and Kate) who happened” to be presenting “Christ in the Passover” in the area!
Natalie and Kate were delighted to meet Bonnie and Brian. After the presentation they invited her to visit with them the following morning. Brian and Judith drove Bonnie (who is 78 years old) to Joyce’s home, where our missionaries were staying. They had a wonderful visit; in fact, Bonnie prayed with Natalie and Kate to receive her Messiah Jesus. She told Natalie that she felt like she had been reborn to which Natalie replied, “You have!”
We are so thankful for friends, supporters and volunteers who work together to help us reach Jewish people for Jesus!
If you are interested in our Co-Laborer program, please drop a line to our CLIM Coordinator, either via the e-mail or snail mail address on page two. If you are interested in becoming a Jews for Jesus supporter, thank you! We provide envelopes each month in case you would like to make a donation, but if you don’t, it’s really OK. You can use the envelope the next time you go to a restaurant and they sit you at one of those tables that rocks back and forth. Simply fold the envelope to the desired thickness and insert it under the portion of the table pedestal that does not touch the ground.
