The Message That Moves: Especially in Argentina
What keeps us going? (Besides the obvious …the Lord!) Vans keep us going and greatly increase our evangelism. This year we purchased two for our work in Argentina. The Buenos Aires branch is struggling to raise support locally and could not cover the cost of the vehicles. Most of our senior staff members contributed $500 from their own support to enable us to make the purchase. The huge Judios para Jesus (Jews for Jesus) lettering—along with the local phone number—attracts attention and generates ministry.
Not only do our moving messages” challenge the people of Argentina to think about Jesus, but many are also moved to call us when they see the message.
José and Natalio are two Jewish men who recently saw our vans in Buenos Aires. Each called the office to ask if someone could tell him more about Jesus. Raul is a Christian who also called the office after seeing one of our vans. His wife, Diana, is Jewish. Raul wondered if someone from Jews for Jesus could meet with the two of them. They attended our Yom Kippur service in Buenos Aires and Diana was very excited to meet Jewish believers in Jesus. She is now meeting with us for regular Bible study. Please pray for our missionaries Guillermo Katz and Carlos Morgenfeld as they follow through on these opportunities.
