Everybody has heard Bob Dylan’s music. You may be less well acquainted with the work of René Bloch and Helen Shapiro. Bloch played the famous alto sax solo on Johnny Otis’s 1940s hit, “Harlem Nocturne.” Shapiro is the British teen singing sensation who had the Beatles as her opening act!
