SINCE SUPER BOWL V IN 1971 THE NFL HAS USED ROMAN NUMERALS TO NUMBER THE GAMES.

UNTIL NOW.

THE NFL SAYS, “‘L’ ISN’T PLEASING TO THE EYE.”
I GUESS WE BETTER GET RID OF ALL THOSE L-SHAPED HOMES, KITCHENS AND SOFAS

SO… THIS YEAR THE NFL IS SUBSTITUTING THE # 50 FOR THE “L”

REALLY! WHY THE ‘L’ DID THE NFL DO THIS?

THEORIES ABOUND . . .

RAPPER 50 CENT IS GOING TO CRASH THE SUPER BOWL HALF TIME SHOW.

SOME PEOPLE MIGHT THINK THE NFL WAS REFERRING TO ALE, NOT L, AND THEY WOULD HAVE PROBLEMS FROM OTHER SPONSORS.

THERE WAS CONCERN THAT PEOPLE WOULD THINK THAT EL NINO WAS HITTING ON SUPERBOWL SUNDAY.

BUT THERE’S ANOTHER THEORY . . .

COULD THIS BE A PLOT AGAINST GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE?

THINK ABOUT IT . . .

THE TRANSLITERATED SPELLING FOR THE LETTER “L” IS “EL”, WHICH IN HEBREW MEANS GOD, AS IN ELOHIM.

SO WITHOUT “EL,” WE ARE LEFT WITH NO GOD!  NOT GOOD.

THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST NO-EL.

BUT THE REAL FIRST NOEL (DERIVED FROM THE LATIN WORD FOR BIRTH) DID HAPPEN OVER 2,000 YEARS AGO IN BETHLEHEM. AS THE CAROL SAYS, “BORN IS THE KING OF ISRAEL.”

THAT KING WAS YESHUA (JESUS), THE MESSIAH OF ISRAEL AND SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. HE TOUCHED DOWN TO EARTH TO TAKE THE PENALTY FOR OUR ACTIONS AND PROVIDED THE WAY TO A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, NOW AND FOREVER.*

WHY SHOULD YOU “GO TO ‘L’” WHEN YESHUA IS OFFERING YOU HEAVEN?
