Jews for Jesus does not hold conventions!  Nor do we have politicians speak at our events!

In a piece from Politico on March 22nd, Jews for Jesus was erroneously labeled as having paid $6,000 to have Rick Santorum speak at a 2010 convention.  Well, it just isn’t true.  Another group, unaffiliated with our organization did have Santorum as a paid speaker at their gathering. But it wasn’t us.

We know that the name, Jews for Jesus, has been used generically as the brand name for all things messianic.  We’re the Jello of religious gelatin.

When the error was pointed out to Politico, they did the right thing and changed the banner line of their article.  But the cat was already out of the bag and we have discovered dozens of articles coming off of that original assumption.  While we’re trying to inform the writers one by one, we hope this notice on our website will stem the onslaught of misinformation.

Jews for Jesus is a one issue ministry— bringing the good news of Y’shua (Jesus) to Jewish people.  We have no political aspirations and we wish all the candidates the best…
