Hello Israel

Can Israel help with California’s drought? Mayor Julian Gold of Beverly Hills believes so. He looks forward to a formal partnership to exchange ideas and information on water conservation among other things, such as disaster preparedness, public safety, and art and culture.

David Siegel, Consul General of Israel, said, “We look forward to working with the City of Beverly Hills to share best practices, ideas and solutions aimed at increasing water conservation and innovation as we face California’s drought as well as Israel’s water challenges.”

The partnership between Israel and Beverly Hills will become official with the signing of the formal agreement on Nov. 10, 2015, at a gala event featuring the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
